We are going to hold a Dhamma talk to celebrate the New Year on April 9, 2017, Sunday.
Dr. Tun Zan Maung, Dr. Khin Khin Oo and family will donate lunch to all event attendees in the fond memories of Sayadaw U Sanda’s benefactor venerable Sayadaw U Pan-ti-ta Bi-won-tha who was the principal resident Sayadaw of Pan-ti-ta Ra-ma (Golden Hill) Sasana Yeik-tha as well as with the fond loving gratitude to their parents, Mr. Reggie Tun Maung & Mrs. Mitzi Tun Maung (deceased) and U Maung Maung Khin & Dr. Daw Nan Oo (deceased).

Time: 11:00 a.m. – Offering lunch to member(s) of the Sangha;
11:05 a.m. – Offering lunch to all attendees;
12:30 p.m. – Taking five precepts;
12:35 p.m. – Listening to the Sangha’s chanting prayers of Suttas for our Protection;
12:45 p.m. – Listening to resident Sayadaw’s dhamma talk
1:45 p.m. – Q & A session;
2:00 p.m. – Announcement (if any).
Foods for both body and mind are free-of-charge.
There are many opportunities for you to get wholesome merit (Kuso):
- by attending the event and listening to the Dhamma talk;
- by bringing a small dish for the member(s) of the Sangha’s lunch;
- by helping cooking volunteers one day before and/or
- by laying the tables and chairs for all attendees and well-wishers one day before the event, taking them down and doing clean-up after the event.
There will be more parking spots available inside the next door compound on the 108th Ave.
