As a precautionary measure due to the suspected fourth wave of COVID-19, we would like to cancel the public gathering for the Dhamma Talk and Waso Robe offering of the event on August 15, 2021. Therefore, the Dhamma talk will be postponed until further notice. However, well-wishers and donors can still come and do their donation and take Mote-hin-gar home (as a take-out only) as they wish.
You can still donate by one of the following three methods if you can’t make it to the event.
Option 1: Send eTransfer to mtbs.surrey@gmail.com
- Reminder to also send the password for receiving the funds and your name for the tax receipt to mtbs.surrey@gmail.com.
- Please also mention the purpose of the donation (e.g. General donation, Waso Robe, etc.).
- A tax receipt will be emailed to you once the payment has been received.
Option 2: Donation via Canadahelp.org

- This option also allows for monthly contributions and the use of credit cards.
- A tax receipt will be automatically generated and sent to your email.
Option 3: Send money via Paypal to mtbs.surrey@gmail.com
- Please send an email to mtbs.surrey@gmail.com with the purposed for the money with your name for the tax receipt.
- A tax receipt will be emailed to you once the payment has been received.
Dhamma talk and/or Waso Robe offering “Live” may be broadcasted on our Manawmaya Theravada Buddhist Society’s Facebook account in due course.
